Why only the spices and not the tea?
chai mama gives you the spice and only the spice. Chai spices are derived from the dried seed, bark and roots of aromatic plants. These woody textured spices need to be gently boiled to encourage them to release their heady volatile oils. Tea comes from the soft young leaves of the camellia bush. Leaves are delicate and excessive heating extracts too much tannin. That’s why so many chai blends taste bitter. The spices used to make chai mama chai masala are carefully sourced, blended and ground to consistently give you the freshest and most delightful chai experience possible. With chai mama you can make your chai just the way you like it.
mamashanti has just begun selling our delicious, heart-warming homemade chai spice mix. Contact us for more information.
